Rhyming Haiku of Wyoming

Wyoming my all,
I love that land where howling
Coyotes yip and call.
        *        *        *
Sandy trails alone,
With the rumbling buffalos
low guttural groan.
        *        *        *
Swifter than gazelles,
Antelopes of Wyoming,
Wander distant trails.
        *        *        *
Warrior chief, and braves
Strewn the vast Wyoming plains,
Now with distant graves.
        *        *        *
Their forefathers talked
Of their great Wyoming range,
Where ancestors walked.
        *        *        *
Their spirits still roam
With names of wild animals,
Forever their home.
        *        *        *
For thousands of years,
They loved their Wyoming land,
With blood and shed tears.
        *        *        *
A warriors great pride,
Father, mother, and papoose,
Together a tribe.

An Indian's land,
Roaming spirits from the past,
Will we understand?
        *        *        *
I'm just a Cowboy,
Riding these plains that I love,
With herds I deploy.
        *        *        *
Throughout Wyoming,
A melodie's in my heart,
With seasons singing.
        *        *        *
Decades of the past,
With Cowboys and Indians,
Wyoming hold fast.
        *        *        *
With seasons fleeting,
And the call of Wyoming,
Forever greeting.
       *        *        *
Just me and my horse,
We move throughout the great plains,
Wyoming of course.
        *        *        *
Where eagles still glide,
Vast Wyoming lay in stretch,
The land of great pride.
        *        *        *
The land that I love,
Wyoming: Oh Wyoming,
Yes our, Wyoming.
