Radio Ranch was sponsored by the Monterey Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival each Sunday from 5pm to 7pm on KNRY 1240 AM (and live on the web) Santa Cruz, Salinas & Monterey -- where the West really began.

Hosted by Monterey Cowboy Poetry & Music Festival Director Mick Vernon, Radio Ranch featured the best cowboy poetry, music and stories the West has to offer.

The last broadcast of Radio Ranch aired July 6, 2008. Listeners will miss the thoughtful choices and broad knowledge Mick Vernon brought to the popular show.

Mick Vernon hands over the Monterey Festival Artistic Director reins after the 2008 festival to Dixie Dixon.
