We welcome your pictures. We're looking for images that give a glimpse of the ranching, cowboy, and rural and working life of the West of today and yesterday. We're looking for vintage photos and contemporary photos: family photos, images of where you live and work, and the area around you.

Oregon's A. Kathy Moss shares recent photos of moving cattle with Billie Price Flick. She writes, "They were all taken down in Plush, Oregon, about 10 to 12 miles a day; the babies were pretty tired but all were happy and healthy."

Popular Texas songwriter Jean Prescott shares another of her talents: photography. These photos are from  David R. Stoecklein (drsphoto.net) workshops. She introduces them:

These photos were taken on the Saunders Ranch near Weatherford, Texas, in March 2014. It was early morning just as the sun was coming up on a beautiful day. The cowboys and cowgirls were getting saddled up and ready to go.

Mattie Saunders was helping bring the horses in that morning. This is one of my favorite photos.

This  photo is of the Saunders Ranch cowboys roping steers in the branding pen. That's about as Western as you can get!

This was taken at a workshop in Mackay, Idaho in July of 2013. It was a spectacular evening for photos and we were high on the top ridge of the mountain range.
