About Eddy Leverett
Eddy was born and raised in Cullman, Alabama, where he still lives. While growing up on a farm, his interest in horses and cattle soon made him a victim of the lure of rodeo. Eddy got on his first bareback horse at age 16, and eventually worked every rodeo event (except barrel racing).
These days he is content to make a few team roping jackpots and entertain with his music, stories and verse. Besides being a veteran rodeo hand, he operates a horse trading business, owns and operates his own cattle farm, and continues to produce roping events. Most of his entertainment antics has been inspired from his livestock professions, wrecks and all.
The Kudzu Cowboy has performed for numerous agricultural and livestock banquets, programs, and events.
