Dry Crik Review of Contemporary Cowboy Poetry was an innovative periodical edited by John Dofflemyer and published by his Dry Crik Press in Lemon Cove, California, from 1991-1994.  Each issue notes that it is "Dedicated to the well-crafted and artful insights of a disappearing breed of men and women." Dry Crik Review sparked some controversy by publishing free verse along with traditional rhyming forms. In late 2005, editor John Dofflemyer made a "lost issue" of Dry Crik Review available through his blog at the Western Folklife Center web site.  Read the entire issue at the Western Folklife web site here (it is included in the index below). The blog also has a list of available back issues.
